The agri-food sector in Aragon

Aragon is agriculture, livestock and food.

In our region, from the highest peaks of the Pyrenees to the Maestrazgo and Matarraña, from the fertile orchards of Cinca Medio to the drylands of Bajo Aragón, from north to south and east to west, we Aragonese cultivate our land with passion and care, look after and preserve our livestock, and produce the finest food with all our expertise.

With a history stretching back thousands of years, together with a tradition inherited from various cultures over generations, Aragon leads Spain’s agri-food sector in terms of production, variety and quality.

More than 55,000 professionals are part of a sector that beats strongly and proudly. At Aragón Alimentos, we defend the value of origin, quality and authenticity. Because here we don’t just produce food: we create experiences that convey the true flavour of our land.

Food from Aragon

Aragon is located in a strategic enclave. Its geography and agroclimatic conditions, its geographical features and natural peculiarities give it unique and singular characteristics for producing food of the highest quality. Wines of Aragon

Aragon is a privileged land for growing grapes. Based on an ancestral tradition inherited from the Romans, in these ancient lands we produce exceptional wines from traditional grapes such as Garnacha, Tempranillo, Moristel and Cariñena, as well as varieties that have adapted to the diversity of our territory: Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Syrah, offering excellent wines that have been created, from the vine to the glass, for the enjoyment of the senses at all times and on all occasions.

Catering

Aragon’s catering industry is an ambassador for the flavours of our region. Chefs and restaurants incorporate local products into their menus, creating unique experiences that showcase Aragon’s agri-food heritage.
