Aragón Alimentos at Barcelona Wine Week 2026

Aragón has participated once again in Barcelona Wine Week 2026, one of the most important wine fairs in the world, consolidating its presence as a leading region in the wine sector. This year, the event brought together more than 26,000 professional visitors, 1,350 wineries and 90 Protected Designations of Origin, reaffirming its status as a first-rate international showcase for quality wines.

Aragón’s participation included 33 wineries, which attended with the support of the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Food of the Government of Aragón. All of them were presented under the agri-food promotion brand ‘Aragón, sabor de verdad’ (Aragón, true taste), reinforcing a unified and recognisable image of Aragonese wine in the professional sphere.

As a new feature compared to the previous edition, Aragón incorporated a tasting led by Aragonese Master of Wine Fernando Mora, entitled ‘Aragón escondido: Garnachas de Viñadores’ (Hidden Aragón: Garnachas from Winegrowers), an initiative aimed at highlighting the uniqueness, origin and personality of the wines produced in the region.

The Aragonese space also featured a tasting area open to trade visitors, where guests could sample wines from participating wineries. This format showcased the breadth and diversity of styles, varieties and appellations in the Aragonese wine sector, facilitating direct contact with buyers, distributors and importers.

The presence at Barcelona Wine Week is part of the strategy to support the internationalisation and strengthening of the Aragonese wine sector, reinforcing its international profile at one of the main events on the professional calendar.
